With its cool and foggy climate, the Russian River Valley produces wines of great depth and distinction. Grape grower John Balletto and winemaker Anthony Beckman create wines that showcase these diverse environments and soils of the region. All the wines are grown on sustainably farmed estate vineyards and reflect the Balletto family’s passion for the land.

Tasting Notes
Accordingly, the Chardonnay is focused and intense with rolling tropical and bright fruit aromas that are offset with darker ripe apple and slightly earthly tones. It’s mouthwatering with an electric vein of acidity running through the wine and into its long finish. Most important, the wine’s structure has a weighty mid palate that directly contrasts its acidity and phenolic grip, lending an exciting tension and unique beauty.
Suggested Food Pairings
This wine is extremely versatile with food. It is textured and plush enough to compliment rich seafood like lobster, crab and scallops, but also has a crisp acidity and fruit flavors that can pair nicely with more diverse flavors like grilled pork tenderloin with a fresh apple reduction sauce.

Rated 92 Points by Wine Enthusiast
This is a delightful wine, crowd pleasing and complex. It benefits from its lack of oak by focusing on its lifted fruit - a twist of fresh-squeezed lemon and grapefruit - its acidity nicely measured and not one-dimensional. The crisp freshness is complemented by a hint of white rock and subtle lushness on the back palate.
