This organic and sustainably produced Sicilian rosé boasts rose petals, bricks, hibiscus iced tea and watermelon on the nose. Creamy and dense on the palate, it offers soil, flowers and now strawberry notes. The wine remains coherent and balanced through the finish and is an excellent value.

The name Ecolosi is a portmanteau of Eco and Colosi, representing a new line of eco-friendly wines from the Colosi family. Ecolosi’s philosophy is inspired by the magical land where its grapes grow. Here, certified organic vineyards are teeming with wildlife; alive with the energetic abundance of Sicily’s diverse flora and fauna. Deep respect for this delicately balanced ecosystem led the Colosi family to create the Ecolosi line, which expertly expresses terroir without disrupting it. This line is vegan friendly and 100% organic.
Since 1987 Cantine Colosi has been producing native Sicilian wines. Consisting of 24 acres of vineyards in Salina, a small island in the Eolian Archipelago, Colosi occupies an area of the island recognized for both its orientation and for the physical-chemical nature of the soil whose volcanic origins are particularly suitable for vine cultivation. The new winemaking cellar, surrounded by the Malvasia vineyards, was completed in 2004. The winery is located underground in order to have a constant temperature for the optimum care of the wine and to respect the strict preservation rules of the Eolian archipelago. With three generations of experience, Colosi is led by enologist Pietro Colosi in collaboration with his father Piero.
